Our goal here at WCHS is to ensure a happy, healthy relationship between pets and their humans. WCHS has trained staff who can answer your questions about your pets behavior and offer solutions for solving problems.
Dog Training
Anna Mefferd, WCHS Canine Specialist and Certified Pet Dog Trainer is now offering private training at WCHS. Anna is happy to work with people and their dogs on basic behaviors such as coming when called, walking on a leash and self control to more advanced behavior modification such as resource guarding, dog/dog aggression and fear issues. Anna ia available for 1/2 hour private consults at $25, or three, 1/2 hour sessions for $60.
Anna is a great teacher and a natural with dogs and people. She employs up-to-date methods using animal learning theory and non-aversive training techniques.
If you are needing help with behaior issues for a dog you adotped from WCHS, Anna's services are free. If you would like basic training tips for your WCHS dog, the first session is free, and regular fees apply thereafter.
