Volunteers help our staff provide loving care to our animals and are some of the most giving people in our community. Through the generosity of their time, resources, and money, we are
able to provide needed services to the animals of Windham County.
Shelter volunteers are expected to
commit to a minimum contribution of 2 hours per week for a 6-month period.
Volunteers must be at least 11 years old. Youths 11 - 15 years of age must be
accompanied by an adult.
All volunteers are required to
complete a Volunteer Application and to attend a Volunteer Orientation Session.
The following Volunteer Orientation sessions are scheduled for 2010 and will take place at the shelter from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm:
