CATS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION  (Updated 5/6/08)  

Tansy is a 1-year-old female gray cat. She is a little temperamental at first but is very affectionate and sweet once she gets to know you. She does not like to be picked up or carried around. She might not get along with other cats.

Pepper is a 3-4 year-old male black cat who is very affectionate. He would get along with other cats after an introduction, but preferably younger cats. OK with older children.

Taz is a 2-year-old male gray cat who came from less than desirable living condtions. He is skittish and doesn't like sudden movements. He is good with other animals but should be in a home with no children. He is currently being kept in the Get Acquainted Room at the shelter so if you would like to visit with him, please ask at the front desk first.

Hobo is a 13-15 year-old male cream medium-haired manx mix who is blind. He is very friendly and easygoing and loves to be held and petted. He would be OK with other cats after an introduction. Because of his blindness he would need time to get used to his new environment.  He would make a great pet for an elderly person who would have the time to give him the love and attention that he deserves. Indoor only.
