VOLUNTEERING
While WCHS has full-time staff, our volunteers provide additional help and are some of the most giving people in our community.
Through the generosity of their time, resources and money, we are able to provide needed services to the animals in the area of Windham
County.
If you are interested in donating your time to the shelter, you must sign up for and attend a volunteer orientation designed
to teach prospective volunteers about WCHS, how to safely work with animals, and what types of volunteer opportunties are available.
There is always a need for cat care, dog care, clerical duties, cleaning, yard work, and helping out with events and mailings.
If
you're interested in fostering, please
