Working Cat Adoption

Have a rodent problem? Or just looking to avoid one?

Consider a working cat!

Traditionally known as "barn cats" working cats have grown to be much more than a mouser in a barn. We've placed cats in garages, art studios, warehouses and even a monastery!

Working cats often cannot thrive in a house and are looking for mostly outdoor, independent spaces to live in. They keep their workplaces free from small intruders and ask only for a meal and warm place to sleep.

All cats are spayed/neutered and UTD on shots before placement.

Their adoption fee is by donation to help us cover costs for their care. Help us save lives today and fill out the form below to start your barn cat adoption!

What is a community cat?

“Community cat” is an umbrella term that refers to any member of the Felis Catus species who is unowned and lives outdoors. Both feral and stray cats are community cats.

If you are aware of a community cat(s) in need of spay and neuter, please give us a call at 802-254-2232.
